Natalie and Nathan’s engagement portraits fell on the perfect April day at Point Defiance Park, with blue skies, a warm sun, and spring flowers everywhere.

We also took a quick trip across the road to photograph around the pond and redwood in the lower part of the Japanese Garden.

Then we were off down Five Mile Drive, heading to my favorite patch of rain forest deep inside Point Defiance Park, where we created a really nice variety of portraits without breaking a sweat.

As evening approached, we ended our engagement session at Owen Beach just as the skies were growing colorful. Mt. Rainier even graced us with its presence, which doesn’t happen all that often!

Natalie and Nathan put all these photos to good use with one of our newest products, the engagement guestbook. Come back here to the Wallflower Blog in a few days to see photos of this popular new album!
