We were honored that Arches Magazine, the alumni publication of the University of Puget Sound, recently approached us about featuring Wallflower Photography in their winter edition. Of course we said yes! During the fall, we sat down with the Arches journalist to fill her in on the nitty gritty of how we started out in photography, our philosophy towards weddings, and why we feel that what happens after the wedding is just as important as the work we do at an event.
The magazine was sent out to all university alumni, and it looks great! We were thrilled to see a huge print of one of our favorite photos, which earned Laura an Accolade of Excellence from the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International organization. And while we’re a little shy about being on the other side of the lens, we even let Arches talk us into having a family photo taken for the article — young son and faithful Golden Retriever included! We recruited our good friend Heather to take this awesome shot of us.

Hey, nice ink on ink action, you two. (: Your blog looks great!
Our media relations manager picked up mention of the magazine in one of her searches.
