We’re pleased to announce that one of Laura’s 2009 wedding images was recognized by judges in the most recent Wedding Photojournalist Association competition!
The winning image is of Travis toasting his groomsmen and other VIMs (Very Important Males) by the outdoor firepit at Willows Lodge in Woodinville. The shot was challenging, lit only by dim firelight, but using flash not only would have “cheapened” the photo, but ruined the whole mood of the spontaneous late-evening toast.
