We headed off to Woodinville wine country in October to photograph the wedding of Ally and Travis at Willows Lodge on a beautiful fall day. It was our first visit to Willows Lodge, and we were thrilled to find a little photographer’s playground! We arrived early, allowing us to scout the grounds and create a “portrait circuit” to lead Ally and Travis along.

This image in the lobby, with sunlight pouring through a front window, is one of our favorites not only from this wedding, but from the whole year:

Allisdair, Travis and Ally’s adorable dog, joined us for a few portraits. He also served as ring bearer, with the rings attached to his collar.

The ceremony took place late in the afternoon, with the sun low in the sky, bathing the gazebo in golden light and casting long shadows.
